Step 5: set your personal fat gram and calorie targets

Knowing and keeping track of your fat and calorie targets are important parts of the alli program.

  • your calorie target is the number of calories you should eat per day to lose weight
    • this target can vary depending on your weight, activity level, and gender
  • your fat gram target is the number of fat grams you can eat per meal to promote weight loss
    • you should average about 15 grams of fat per meal, and no more than 30% of the calories from each meal should come from fat
